I could get all gooey and sniffley writing this post, lamenting my advancing age and Dillon's imminent independence, but instead I'll just show you how STINKIN' handsome my Man-boy is in a tux. Behold...
I did get pictures. He called her to find out if she was bring her camera and while on the phone, mentioned that I want copies of the pictures here parents take. She told him they could come over. Just like D to not even bother to ask...
His hair doesn't bother me too much, but it makes his dad CRAZY! (But to his credit, he doesn't say much about it until we can't see Dillon's eyes.)
I thought she looked great too. I guess they had a great time. He hasn't come home yet. He spent the night with a friend and still isn't home...
I just found your blog today. You are right he is a handsome man/child! I can relate to the "but I didn't get many details out of him - he pretty much ate and went right to bed. Maybe tomorrow..."My boy is like that too... And long hair! I used to really dig that in a man...
Yeah, Betty, I'm talkin' to you. Back in the olden days girls corsages were pinned on above the boobie. But they got all floppy by the end of the night and if you didn't know your date too well, then the pinning-on part was just hideously embarrassing (with your dad taking photos) so I'm gathering that sometime around the mid-90's girls must have finally said, "NO MORE"! And I heart them.
Believe it or not.... my dates gave me 3 roses, tied in a ribbon to carry to the dance. No pinning on the boobies. I got to pin on a flower on his lapel. That was scary, on my part.... might slip and get him in the chin!

Ohhhh... so glad you got pictures!! Cute kids...all happy and excited. Bet they had a great time!
Wow - they look wonderful! I hope they had a great time!
And I really like her dress - very simple, and tasteful which is lacking a bit in Prom dresses these days....

It is a little "smooky booky" how those years have pass by soooo fast.xo O
They look wonderful. I love her dress. Very classy. As Jes said, often lacking these days. I hope they had a great time. So glad you got pictures.
They are both totally adorable!
Thanks! He finally came home, but I didn't get many details out of him - he pretty much ate and went right to bed. Maybe tomorrow....

They both look lovely! But she didn't have much dress to pin a corsage on! How did he manage? ;-D
And don't worry about the hair! My young man's hair is down to his backside! `8-o
Hey, Youngin'~

On the other hand...
If YOUR boobies touch your date's hands while he's putting on your wrist corsage.....
then you might be a redneck.

Ohhh.. funny. word verification. pbhykis
Hubba Hubba!!!!
Oh they are just freakin' adorable! And I can't believe Betty didn't know about corsages that didn't go on the wrist.
